Westhampton Transfer Station, Refuse Disposal and Recycling
The Westhampton Transfer Station for Southampton Town's Refuse Disposal and Recycling Center, is located at 66 Old Country Road, Westhampton, NY 11978. It's “the road that Bide-A-Wee is on.”
The facility is open from 8am to 4pm, 7 days a week for area residents who choose to self-haul. Participants must purchase and use the official Town of Southampton Garbage Bags for all non-recyclable trash (See Page 2 of this document for locations to obtain these bags): household garbage and yard waste, except grass clippings, tree stumps, logs and other land clearing debris. Participants must source separate all recyclables: comingled containers (glass, aluminum and plastic), mixed paper (stationery, newspapers, magazines and books), corrugated cardboard and brown paper bags, used clothing and automotive waste oil and batteries.
