The Great Lawn
A Joint Effort of the Village of Westhampton Beach and the Town of Southampton via the Community Preservation Fund to protect these 5.89 acres of open native grasses for future generations. The Great Lawn is located at 35 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 (Southeast corner of Main Street at Potunk Lane).
With its abundance of wide open grass field, the Great Lawn has been the host to many major events including the Summer Gala by the Family Counseling Service and the annual Bill Hautmann Memorial Flea Market by the Westhampton Beach Rotary Club.
Film and Video
The Great Lawn is a great location for any film and video project. If interested in more information about obtaining a permit to utilize this location for a commercial project, just download the simple Application for Use of Village Property for Commercial Purposes form and follow the instructions.
