Village of Westhampton Beach Public Beach Access Passes and Stickers
Rogers Beach and Lashley Beach will open on weekends starting May 19th through June 3rd from 10am - 5pm. The beaches will be open 7 days a week starting June 9th through Labor Day, September 3rd. Non-resident beach stickers may be obtained at Rogers Beach May 19th through August 5th, 2012.
Residents of the Incorporated Village of Westhampton Beach may obtain stickers and passes at Rogers Beach whenever the beach is open. There is no charge for Village residents, but there is a limit of two car stickers per family. Beach personnel will have a list of taxpayers/homeowners. One picture form of ID is necessary for identification purposes. Year-round renters must have their Westhampton Beach address listed on their license (no post office boxes) or a winter utility bill with the renter's name and the local address listed.
The Village extends beach privileges as a courtesy to taxpayers and year-round residents residing in the hamlets of Westhampton, Quiogue, Remsenburg and Speonk for a charge of $425. This includes 1 car sticker, and beach passes for family members living year 'round with the property owner. Proof of residency is required and includes either a current Southampton Town tax receipt or a vehicle registration and license made out to the local street address. Car registration must be presented for sticker. The last name on registration must match that of the owner listed on tax receipt or license of year 'round renter applying for beach permit. Beach passes are only given to applicant's legal dependents unless proof is given that they live with homeowner on a year 'round basis with the exception of a summer nanny. All others must go as guests. Non-residents may bring 2 guests per beach pass on weekends and holidays and unlimited guests during the week. Guest fee is $10 per guest per day.
Summer renters inside the Incorporated Village's boundaries may obtain beach privileges for a fee of $425.00. This includes 1 vehicle sticker and beach passes for up to 4 people. A valid rental permit must be approved and on file in the Village Office before obtaining beach passes. Only people listed on the approved rental application will be issued beach passes. If you need to add or delete someone on the rental list, it must be approved by the Zoning Inspector's Office. They may be reached at 288-3483 Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Each person may bring 2 guests per beach pass on weekends and holidays and unlimited guests during the week. Guest fee is $10 per guest per day.
Summer renters in the hamlets of Westhampton, Remsenburg, Speonk and Quiogue may obtain beach privileges for a fee of $725. Proof of residency is required, including a letter of authorization from the homeowner, the lease and proper identification. Up to 4 people listed on the lease may receive beach passes, one of which may receive the vehicle sticker. Each authorized renter may bring 2 guests per beach pass per day on weekends and holidays and unlimited guests during the week. Guest fee is $10 per guest per day.
Non-resident students enrolled at any Westhampton Beach School may obtain a beach pass for $10 upon presentation of a current Westhampton Beach School ID. Students that are Westhampton Beach residents may obtain a beach pass free of charge. Students may obtain their passes at Rogers Beach whenever the beach is open.
